Do the handles of A by AMC pots become hot?Updated 13 days ago

The handles of A by AMC cookware are crafted entirely from stainless steel and feature an integrated ceramic Thermobloc, an innovative heat stopper that keeps handles cool during cooking.

Advantage:
The Thermobloc prevents heat from the pot’s body from transferring to the handles, so you can safely touch them throughout the cooking process.

Please Note:
The Thermobloc cannot stop external heat from reaching the handles, such as from an oven or an adjacent gas burner. In these situations, the handles might get hot.

That’s why it’s essential to always position your pot in the center of the burner, especially with gas cooktops, to avoid direct heat on the handles.

A tip for induction cooktops:

  • For fixed-zone induction cooktops, simply place your pot or pan in the middle of the zone.

  • For flexible induction cooktops (like Maxi-Flex), which have no fixed zones, you’ll need to be extra mindful of the handle position and use pot holders if needed.
