What is the temperature range for "Vegetables" and "Meat"?Updated 13 days ago

The AMC Visiotherm does not show exact temperatures but instead uses visual cooking windows to indicate the ideal heat range for different cooking methods. These windows are interpreted by the Audiotherm, which helps guide the cooking process.

However, for reference purposes only (not for setting the temperature manually), the approximate temperature ranges associated with the Visiotherm windows are:

Vegetables Window (for minimum water cooking with normal lid):

  • Approx. 140°F to 208°F

  • Ideal for cooking vegetables gently with little or no added water to preserve vitamins and nutrients.

Meat Window / Roasting Window (for roasting with normal lid):

  • Approx. 212°F to 356°F

  • This range is used for roasting meat without fat or with minimal oil. You start cooking when the pointer reaches this window.
